2016 Grow Maine Green Expo
Last week we were able to attend MELNA's and MAA's (Maine Arborist Association) trade show at the Augusta Civic Center. Each year it has been a wonderful place for landscape professionals across the the field to network and learn. We were happy to see some old friends and hear inspiring speakers, including ecologist Rick Darke, and USDA Forest Service mycologist and tree specialist, Kevin Smith. The speakers shared some new insights on tree health, pesticides and pollinators, and the essential layers of living landscapes. Many thanks to the sponsors and organizations that help to put together this community event each year.
